She was predeceased by: her parent Annamma Abraham. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Nayan K. Kothari; her children, Anita and Anil "Bob"; her daughter-in-law Amy; her grandchildren, Noah, Caroline, Alli and Jacob; her sisters, Dr. Lizzy Zachariah and Dr. Ruby Matthew; and her sister-in-law Usha Abraham. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
