He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Swartz and Miksa Swartz; his brothers, Milton and Bernard Swartz; and his former wife Helen Rodwin.
He is survived by: his wife Muriel Swartz; his children, Susan, Peter Konderish, Neil Swartz, Judy and Joe Goldstein; his stepchildren, Karen, Geoff Ray and Diane Sredl; his grandchildren, Sari Elizabeth Goldstein, Harrison Jacob Goldstein, Rachel Hanna Goldstein, Jaimie Rina Swartz, Edward Ray, Henry and Andrea Ray; and his great grandchild Liam Ray.
