He was predeceased by: his wife Geneva Brown; his children, Ernest Brown Jr., Ealton Jeffery Brown, Janice Burns and Michelle Brown Thomas; and his siblings, Houston Brown, Norfleet Bolton and Emma Rose Bolton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rose Ford and Theresa Brown; and his siblings, Jan Brown and Barbara Ann Arrington. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
