As we bid adieu to Eleanor's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Eleanor has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Portash and Elizabeth Portash (Ballow); and her husband William H. Gowen, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, William Gowen Jr., Elizabeth Gowen, Cynthia Ackerman and Susan Senyszyn. She is also survived by her six grandchildren; her two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Van Liew Cemetery (585 Georges Rd, North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902).
