He is survived by: his children, Matthew Salerno (Rosanna) and Maria M. LaPunta; his siblings, Carmelo Salerno and Maria Martorana; his grandchildren, Caroline Salerno (Max Meroni), Andrew and Jennifer LaPunta; and his great grandchild Alice Meroni.
