He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Joan; and his brother Rod Schell. He is survived by: his siblings, Dave Pearl and Elizabeth; his brother-in-law Robert Schaffhauser; his nephew Shaun Schaffhauser; and his niece Maryjo Schell (Frank Kopitskie).
