It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Ann LaPlaga of North Brunswick, New Jersey, born in Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on September 4, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Borquist and Esther Borquist; her husband Louis J. LaPlaga Sr.; her daughter Barbara Ann Pitcher; and her sisters, Jean Phillips and Catherine Borquist.
She is survived by: her daughter Georganne Benanti (Dominick); her brothers, Jack Borquist and Herbert Borquist Jr. (Mary); her grandchildren, Stephanie (Ryan), Frank (Paula), Georgette (AJ), Katie (Albert), Joseph and Cody (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Audrey and Austin; and her friend Diane Wood. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and her four stepchildren.
