He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambalal Pathak and Madhukanta Pathak (Bhatt); and his brother Dr. Jitendra Pathak. He is survived by: his wife Bina Pathak (Upadhyaya); his son Vishal Pathak; his daughter-in-law Arianne Pathak; his daughter Chandni Stallings; his son-in-law Michael Stallings; and his siblings, Kasum Bhatt, Hemlata Vyas, Geeta Tiwari and Rajendra. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
