She was predeceased by: her parents, Fernando Cortes and Carmela Garcia. She is survived by: her daughter Aida Menendez Jazewback; her husband John; her grandchildren, Philip Cimmino (Guadalupe), Ariana Cimmino, Radames Jorge Menendez (Belen) and John Paul Menendez; and her great grandchildren, Jace Cimmino, Zia Cimmino and Mia Menendez.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barquin Funeral Home (7101 Broadway, North Bergen, NJ 07093). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph of the Palisades RC Church (6401 Palisade Ave, West New York, NJ 07093).
