He is survived by: his wife Margaret Sarin; his son Steven Sarin; his daughter-in-law Marilyn Sarin; his daughter Melinda Gleason; his son-in-law Christopher Gleason; his grandchildren, Gia, Ella, Christopher and Luke; and his brothers, Mirinko Sarin and Dinko Sarin.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph Z. Konopka Funeral Home (9046 Palisade Pl, North Bergen, NJ 07047). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St John the Baptist Church (239 Anderson Ave, Fairview, NJ 07022).
