It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mercedes Barcelo in North Bergen, New Jersey, who passed away on March 17, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her children, Susan and Sebastian. She is survived by: her children, Arsenio Solares (Carmen), Ricky Solares (Lidice) and Maritza Menendez (Alfredo); and her grandchildren, Richard, Jovanni, Vanessa, Victoria, Daniel, Adrian, Emma, Alexander, Gabriel, Alfredo and Nicholas.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for charitable donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
