He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Suter and Catherine Suter (Hess); his wife Patricia (Mannard); his daughter Nancy Toman; and his siblings, Arthur, Joseph, Albert Suter, Elizabeth Wedemeyer and Catherine Cook.
He is survived by: his sons, Danny Suter (Diane) of Vermont, Andrew Suter of Brooklyn, Edward Suter (Angela) of Hoboken and Michael Suter (Deborah) of Wantage. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
