He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Raymond Caruso; and his parents, Eli and Jennie Yankovich. He is survived by: his grandchildren, James, Daniel, Gregg, Ashley, Jenna, Katherine, Joseph and Jeffrey; his great grandchildren, Poppy, Milly, Noah, Ellie and Luke; his siblings-in-law, Robert Caruso and Marylou Caruso; and his wife Joanne Caruso of Cliffside Park.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vainieri Funeral Home (5923 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Bergen, NJ 07047). A Mass was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Church of Saint Joseph of the Palisades (6401 Palisade Ave, West New York, NJ 07093).
