It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Gilchrist (North Arlington, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on August 13, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Thomas, John, William and Ruth; his grandchildren, Julia, Allison, Valerie and Sheila; his great grandchildren, Zayne and Ria; his siblings, William Gilchrist, Irene Freitag and Carol Volpe; and his parent-in-law Antoinette Fitzpatrick. He is also survived by 41 nieces and nephews.
