He was predeceased by: his parents, Xhela and Haxhe; and his siblings, Lebo Xhelo and Nexho Shuti. He is survived by: his spouse Vitoria; his child Arben Xhelo (Ballkeze) of Belleville; and his siblings, Feim Xhelo and Refati Xhelo. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
