She is survived by: her sons, Steven Sargent (Janet) of Warwick, NY, Wade Sargent of Rutherford, NJ and Peter Sargent (Alda) of Lake Hopatcong, NJ.; her grandsons, Andrew Sargent (Sarina) of New York City, NY and Samuel Gomes of Lake Hopatcong, NJ.; her brother Richard Trent (Annabelle) of Towson, MD.; and her siblings-in-law, Cornelia Hubbard of Sussex, NJ, Dorothy Sargent of Laguna Woods, CA and Frank Hotz of Moneta, VA.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

“I'm sorry to hear of Mrs. Sargeant's passing. I was a friend of her son Steven when we were just kids on Pine Street. Mr. Sargeant ran the local Chevrolet dealer where I bought my first car - a used 1965 Corvair that took me through college. And I remember that Mrs. Sargeant drove a Corvair for a while, too. I remember getting a ride in it. She was always nice to us kids.”
