He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer Grimes; his parents, Joseph and Anna; and his siblings, Albert and Marion Zumbano.

He is survived by: his children, Gary Wickenheisser, Donna Riley and JoAnn Cavalier; and his brothers, Paul, Steven, Daniel and Richard.

The family requests no flowers. Memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, https://stjude.org.
