It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Vieira (North Arlington, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on May 20, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Vieira and Alzira; his wife Catherine Vieira; his children, Kristin Vieira and Tracey Sowa (Gregory); his grandchildren, Magdalena and Kolbe; his siblings, Judith Casale (Vincent), Alzira Ramalho (Jorge), Ann Cifelli (Michael) and Joaquim Vieira, Jr.; and his aunt Rose Evaristo. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the restrictions recently placed on occupancy in public spaces by the State of New Jersey in the ongoing efforts to limit the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Joe's funeral arrangements are private.
