He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Susan; his granddaughter Ella Grace Sheely; his stepgranddaughter Madelynn Sheely; his parents, Thomas Donahue and Helen Grabowski Donahue; his siblings, Thomas (Lois), Robert and Patricia Autino (Louis); his mother-in-law Suzanne Rajczyk; and his pets, Gracie, Eli and Jack.

In lieu of flowers, the family would encourage contributions to the Arizona Animal Welfare League (aawl.org).
