He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hugh Forfar and Marie Forfar; his wife Ruthie; his nieces and nephews, Nicole (Jimmy), Kayce, Jackie (Kelvin), BJ, Melissa, Jace, Jaydon, Peyton and Bryce; and his sister-in-law Joan Magenheimer (Gregg Sharkey).
