It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Adelaide Cabelo (North Arlington, New Jersey), born in Mineola, New York, who passed away at the age of 97, on February 8, 2025. In the vast expanse of eternity, Adelaide shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Adelaide farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Clemente; her children, Manuel F. Cabelo, Irene [Cabelo] Vitabile and Antonio Cabelo; her grandson Manuel M. Cabelo; and her sisters, NJ, Kearny and Lake Luzerne.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Denise Pavona (James V. Pavona, Jr.). She is also survived by four grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Chapel (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location.
