We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2021, at the age of 94, James Browne of Normandy Beach, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Ethel Catherine Waldron; his parents, Matthew and Margaret (Collins); his siblings, Betty, Peggy, Tom, Matthew and Joe; and his son-in-law Robert Closkey.

He is survived by: his daughter Mary Beth; his close friend Mary Lou; his daughter Patricia Mary Browne; and his grandchildren, Brian Francis Closkey, Catherine Waldron Closkey, Golden Retrievers, Reese, Indy and Finn.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Former FBI Agents Foundation 3717 Fettler Park Dr. Dumfries, VA 22025.
