He is survived by: his wife Karen Katz; his sons, Rob Katz and Dan Katz; his sisters, Martha Katz-Hyman and Judith Katz; his aunt Wilma Stern; his daughters-in-law, Clara Siegel and Veronica Katz; and his grandchildren, Elan, Armand, Rosa and Jeanne Louise. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
