He is survived by: his wife Kamala "Kay"; his siblings, Bobby Lee Hines (Sylvia), Kevin Lawrence Hines (Christina) and Vera Elaine Hines; and his uncle Butch. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and very dear friends.
