He is survived by: his children, Andre Lamont Pierce and Sharette Pierce; his sister-in-law Carol Bumbrey; his grandchildren, Aneesha Phillips, Patrice Pierce, Latwan Newton, Jeffrey Pierce, Jr., Celeste Nelson (Gary), Akeem Pierce and Markiese Pierce (Brittany); and his nieces and nephews, Audrey Drummonds, Sharon Holmes (Richard), Priscilla Radcliffe (Rick), LaRhonda Bumbrey, Doreen Crone (Darrell), Carl Johnson, Johnathan Drummonds, Sr. (Donna) and James Cochrane, Jr. (Dorrie). He is also survived by great nieces, nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
