It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William James Pittenger (Newton, New Jersey), born in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 13, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Pittenger and Emma-Jean Pittenger (Malone); and his sister Peggy Sue Decker (Pittenger). He is survived by: his children, Kelly (John Washeleski) of Simpson, PA, Stephanie (John Lenihan) of Sussex, NJ and Kit Pittenger of Newton, NJ; his siblings, Rhonda Owen (Steve) of Vero Beach, FL, Jeff (Kim Pittenger) of Stillwater, NJ and Steve (Tina Pittenger) of Newton, NJ; his grandchildren, Taryn Lenihan of Kirby Lenihan, J. T, Angela Serino, Brett Serino, Matthew Pittenger and Abbie Washeleski; and his aunts, Betty DePuy of Frankford, NJ, Louise Pittenger of Newton, NJ and Mary Malone of Lafayette, NJ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
