With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Waneda J. Rugg in Newton, New Jersey, born in Addison, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 13, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Colflesh and Mary Colflesh (Knox); her husband Floyd W. Rugg; her siblings, Ronald, Paul, Victor, Dale, Daniel Colflesh, Carrie Weimer (Colflesh) and Lois Mae Braid (Colflesh); and her son Daniel James Rugg (Joanne Rugg) of Weymouth, Massachusetts.

She is survived by: her daughters, Judith A. Tichnor (James) of Vernon and Janet Smith of Quincy, Massachusetts; and her grandchildren, Tonya (Clarke), Angela (Jack), Danielle (Robert), Michelle (Lucus), Ronald and Jarrett Smith. She is also survived by her seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
