He was predeceased by: his father Robert Stanaback; and his niece Jamie Bauman. He is survived by: his wife Vickie A. (Rutherford); his mother Betty Stanaback (Degelman) of Wantage; his sons, Michael Stanaback of Wantage and Scott Stanaback (Maureen) of Frankford; his brothers, Glenn (Debra) of Stroudsburg and Joseph Stanaback of Netcong; his grandchildren, Alexa, Jacob, Callen and Ryder; his nieces, Nicole and Stacy; his sister-in-law Diane Bauman (Sid Sedore) of Wanaque; his nephew David Bauman; and also Mackenzie.
