He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie James (Malatesta); his son Rickie; and his siblings, Charles James (Buddy), Shirley Zaleski, Ruth DeProspo, Carolyn James and Evelyn Ogorzaly.

He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Dombayci; and his brother Edward James (Karen). He is also survived by several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice Foundation, 99 Sparta Ave, Newton, NJ 07860.
