He was predeceased by: his parents, Siebert Sensbach and Esther Sensbach (Hartvigsen); and his wife Sonja Sensbach (Jahre). He is survived by: his children, Susan Hermes (James) of Newton, Paul M. Sensbach (Theresa) of Andover Township and Peter S. Sensbach of Vernon; and his grandchildren, Morgan Sensbach, Colin Sensbach, Conner Sensbach, Douglas Hermes, Tyler Hermes, Matthew Hermes, Michael Walsh and Tara Walsh.
