She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Santore and Rose Santore (Favorito); her husband Walter Hooey; and her siblings, Loretta Bosse, Arthur and Charles Santore.

She is survived by: her son Donald L. Hooey; her daughter-in-law Frances A. Hooey of Ogdensburg; and her granddaughters, Lisa Harris of Ogdensburg and Gina Bochkay of Morristown.

“I am very sorry to learn of Margaret's passing. I barely remember her from my childhood but I re-met her in 2004 when I discovered a girl-hood photo of her with my father Gabriel Santore, her cousin. My father remembered living in a shared house with her during their childhood. When I spoke with Margaret on the phone back in 2004 her voice was immediately familiar and we had a wonderful conversation. She was the most senior Santore I know as my father passed in 2012. ----Maria M. Santore”
