She was predeceased by: her parents, John Alexander and Agnes Alexander (Luce); her husband George J. Phipps Jr.; her daughter Cynthia Phipps; and her siblings, David Alexander and Natalie Knipp.
She is survived by: her son George J. Phipps III (Doreen); her sister Dorothy Heubner; and her grandchildren, Heather Santo, Samantha Amerman and Dominick Phipps. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
