He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence M. Smith, Sr. and Janet E. Smith; and his brother Rick L. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Marjanne Smith of Newton; his children, Michael L. Smith (Laura C.) of Dingmans Ferry, PA, Janet E. Rickert (Gregg) of Dingmans Ferry, PA, Jennifer J. Smith of Wilkes Barre, PA, Justina Hompesch (Jason) of Dingmans Ferry, PA and Melissa Graziano of Newton; and his siblings, Dale L. Smith of Lafayette, Diana L. Feldman (Robert) of Hamburg and Liza Smith-Simpson (Harold) of Andover Township. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
