He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Bechtold and Madeline T. Bechtold (Vogel); and his sister Alberta Allen. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bechtold; and his children, Kenneth G. Bechtold, Jr. (Julie), Steven G. Bechtold (Ellen) and Nancy J. B. Carver (Don). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
