She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Newton and Irene Newton. She is survived by: her husband Laurens "Jim" Hardin; her children, James Hardin (Amanda) of Houston, Jarrod Hardin (Ali Kulsar) of Wantage and Lindsay Hardin of Fairbanks, Alaska; her brother Glenn Newton (Alison) of Mendham; and her granddaughter Luna.
