He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Pflugfelder and Hazel Pflugfelder (Snyder); his grandson Bernie; and his siblings, Arthur and Betty.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kathy" Pflugfelder; his children, Melissa Walge, John F. Pflugfelder, Jr. (Tracy) and Judy Pflugfelder-Smith (Andrew Smith); his grandchildren, Nancy, John Tyson, Ashlee, Elizabeth, Derek, Payton, Jakob, Aaron, Jordan and Sadie; his great grandchildren, Theo, Landen, Lilly, Cooper, Remington, Sophia, Ryleigh, Buck, Bernie, Jak, Kaylynn, Colton, Ava, Leland and Briar; and his sister Doris Hall. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
