He is survived by: his daughters, Danielle Pierson and Stephanie Gibson (Devin); his mother Pat Pierson; his sister Tanya Knaap; his brother-in-law Andrew Knaap; his close friend Patty Steph; and his stepdaughters, Selena Brooks and Lori Larsen.
