He was predeceased by: his parent Judson DeGroat; and his sisters, Regina Pittenger and Kathryn Sigler. He is survived by: his parent Susie DeGroat; his wife Myrtle Mae DeGroat; his daughter Jane Lynn of Wethersfield; his grandchildren, Clinton Lynn of Colorado, Muriah Lynn of Florida, Brielle Lynn of California and Sarianne Lynn of Connecticut; and his great grandchildren, Carolina and Parker.
