He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Metzgar and Ethel Metzgar (Yetter); his wife Agnes Metzgar (Morville); his daughter Karen Quick; and his siblings, Floyd, Simeon, Phil, Loretta and Laura.
He is survived by: his son Steven Metzgar (Jill) of Newton; his grandchildren, Erin Metzgar of Dover, Maureen Metzgar of Andover Township, Lauren Conway of Salem and Connor Quick of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; and his great grandchild Gavin Conway of Salem.
