He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Byrd and Ruby Woods. He is survived by: his wife Eva E. (Babcock); his children, Eric Addison of Franklin, Alton, Jr. of Florida, Miesha Addison of Port Jervis and Amy Griffin of Franklin; and his brothers, Darnell Griffin, Charles Woods, Alfred Woods and Lionel Griffin. He is also survived by his six grandchildren.
