Brown of Newport, New Jersey, born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on April 14, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fannie Mae and Stan Moore Slater; her husband Alonzo Brown, Sr.; and her children, Curtis Johnson (Annette), James L. Brown (Iris), Fannie Arlene Pierce, Jerry Brown (Linda) and Alonzo Brown, Jr.. She was also cherished by 20 grandchildren; and a host of great and great-great grandchildren, family and friends.
