She was predeceased by: her parents, Smith Pierce and Lydia Pierce (Murray); and her husband Percy Hughes. She is survived by: her son Edward; her daughter-in-law Pat; her grandchildren, Sharon Cottrell (Rickey), Richard, Elizabeth Bird (Greg) and Christine McDonald (Keith); and her great grandchildren, Matthew Cottrell, Sean Cottrell, Nicole Hughes, Teresa Hughes, Julia Fischer, Ashley Fischer, Jacob Bird, Erika Bird, Madison McDonald and Mckenna McDonald.
