He is survived by: his children, Mercy Varghese (Varghese), Elsamma Varghese (Jose), Sabu Mathew (Minimol), Sophiyamma Mathew (Shaji), Bose Mathew (Lincy), Saju Mathew (Mini), Ancymol Mathew (Sunil) and Jincy Mathew (Biju); his siblings, Rosamma, Emmanuel, Thomas, George, Annamma and Joseph; and his son Emmanuel.
