It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Downing of Newfield, New Jersey, who passed away on February 17, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Estella Downing and Ira Downing; his children, George Jr. of New York and Clarease Chadwick of Deltona; and his stepchildren, Willie Norris Lamb of Maryland and Aileen Jennings of North Carolina. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
