Vivian M. Thomas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian M. Thomas (Newark, New Jersey), who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Vivian is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Vivian's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cola Lee Hall and Lee Alma Cooke; her husband Charles Thomas; and her son Larry Bernard. She is survived by: her aunt Vonciel Hill; her brother J. C. Wardell Hall; and her daughters, Myra and Marion.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cotton Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association, an organization Vivian felt strongly about.
