It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Victoria S Vernacchia (Newark, New Jersey), who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Victoria farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Victoria is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Edwardo (Papaleo) and Pasquale Edwardo; and her husband John R.. She is survived by: her children, Janet Buonopane and John A. (Sharon); her grandson John Robert Buonopane; her great grandchild Giavanna Buonopane; and her siblings, Michael, Alphonse Edwardo and Adele Cresitello. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home & Cremation Service (44 Bay Ave, Bloomfield, NJ 07003). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 9:45 AM at the Levandoski-Grillo Funeral Home (44 Bay Ave, Bloomfield, NJ 07003). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lucy's Church (118 7th Ave, Newark, NJ 07104).
