He was predeceased by: his child Kelly Jean. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his children, Carrie Krueger and Richard Jr.; his grandchildren, David Davila, Stephen, Jason Krueger, Kelly Ray and Shelby Dell Hemberger; his great grandchildren, Arabella Socorro and Mia Marie Davila; and his brother William "Bill" Hemberger (Susan Hemberger).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home (1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
