The memory of Nick Kakkalis of Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on April 10, 2025 at the age of 60, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Nick may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Haralambos "Harry" Kakkalis and Nafsika "Nancy" Kakkalis. He is survived by: his sons, Christopher and Andrew; his sister Maria Mastrogiannis (Michael); and his nephew Harry. He is also survived by cousins, extended relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Nicholas, Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church (80 Laurel Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
