Though Nelly may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nelly touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her sons, Efrain "Tito" Garcia, David Kuinlan, Larry Kuinlan, Perry Kuinlan and Robin Kuinlan; her grandchild Liannie Gonzalez; and her husband Nestor Gonzalez.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Alvarez Funeral Home Inc. (240 Mt Prospect Ave, Newark, NJ 07104). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (370-406 Woodside Ave, Newark, NJ 07104).
