He was predeceased by: his parents, Joaquim Pereira and Ana Emilia Pereira; and his brothers, Americo Pereira, Joseph Pereira and Mario Pereira.
He is survived by: his wife Ana Nata Pereira; his children, Linda Pereira and Daniel Nata De Amorim; his siblings, Maria Seelinger (Philip Seelinger), Alice Sotolongo (John Sotolongo), Christine Barros (Donzilio Barros) and Antonio Pereira (Maribel Pereira); and his sisters-in-law, Aurea Pereira and Deborah Pereira.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Buyus Funeral Home (426 Lafayette St, Newark, NJ 07105). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
